Marco Pocci is currently Database Development Engineer at the international office of Hewlett-Packard, in Barcelona, Spain, where he has joined the EMEA PPS Services Operational Development team.
He received a Ph.D. degree in Mathematic and Informatics from Aix-Marseille University (AMU), Marseille, France, and a Ph.D. degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Cagliari, Cagliari, Italy, both in 2013.
From October 2012 to September 2013 he has been Attaché Temporaire d'Enseignement et de Recherche (ATER) in the Laboratoire des Sciences de l'Information et des Systèmes (LSIS), Aix-Marseille University (AMU), where he joined as member of the MoFED research group.
He received the "Laurea Specialistica" degree (Master degree) with high honour in Electronic Engineering on 15th July 2009 from the Department of Electric and Electronic Engineering (DIEE) of the University of Cagliari (UNICA). He joined the University of Cagliari on March 2010 as co-advised student.
His main research field deals with analysis and control of discrete event systems, including observability, test and diagnosis with particular focus on Petri nets.
