Le but de cette thèse est de proposer une méthode permettant de définir un système de coordonnées surfacique sur le cortex. Un tel système est nécessaire pour se repérer sur la surface corticale, mais aussi pour une mise en correspondance inter-sujet, dans le cadre de l'imagerie cérébrale. Ainsi, nous proposons une paramétrisation automatique, basée sur la topologie sphérique de l'interface matière grise/matière blanche de chaque hémisphère, et sur l'utilisation de marqueurs anatomiques organisés et reproductibles. Le système de coordonnées est propagé à partir de ces marqueurs, servant de contraintes initiales, grâce à une EDP résolue sur la surface corticale.
